How it works

Five steps from a number on paper to a claim that can be trusted.

KimeGem never asks you to publish a certificate. Each step you complete is reviewed privately, and only the resulting trust score is ever visible to another claimant.

  1. 01

Scan or type the report number

The app reads the QR or barcode on the grading report, or you can enter the number by hand. Nothing else is required to register.

Enters the registry as T0, pending lab verification
  2. 02

We confirm the number with the authority

The number is checked against the grading laboratory. While that check is open the entry stays pending and is deliberately excluded from matching, so an unverified number can never raise an alarm against a real owner.

    Target turnaround: 24 hours
  3. 03

    Photograph the grading card

Take a single camera photo of the physical card. A reviewer checks it against the same report number and the claim moves to T1.

Camera only, so the image cannot be a forwarded file
  4. 04

    Prove ownership

Photograph the purchase invoice and up to three images of the jewellery itself. Once verified, the claim reaches T2, the strongest score on KimeGem.

Every image is encrypted and never public
  5. 05

    Watch for a second claim

If someone else registers the same verified number, both sides receive a calm signal showing how strong the other claim is and roughly when it appeared. Identities stay private.

You choose the score that triggers an alert

The trust score

Three verified stages, and nothing assumed in between.

A claim only advances when a reviewer confirms the evidence. Rejected evidence sends the claim back so you can retake the photo and submit again.

T0
Lab verifiedThe grading authority returns a record for this number.
T1
Card verifiedThe physical grading card matches that record.
T2
Ownership verifiedInvoice and jewellery evidence support the claim.
IMPORTANT

A verified trust score is not an appraisal.

KimeGem confirms that a grading authority holds a record for a number, that a card matches it, and that ownership evidence was supplied. It is not a diamond authentication, a valuation, or a legal determination of title.
